Independant Vegetable Pest Management 

High resolution colour photographs of insects common to the vegetable garden have been grouped into clusters to aid in identification. Click on the insect group to go to a higher magnification view of the photo. When you find the insect you wish to identify, click on its photo and you will receive a page of detailed information that describes the insect and how it damages plants. At the bottom of the detail page, you may search the vegIPM database for cultural, biological and chemical controls for the pest.

The Allotments Regeneration Initiative         

The Allotments Regeneration Initiative (ARI) is a partnership between the National Allotment Gardens Trust and the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens (FCFCG), funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and supported by the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (NSALG), the Institute of Leisure Amenity Management (ILAM) and the Department for Communities and Local Government. To date £800,000 of funding has been made available to promote allotments regeneration.
